Haeundae Marine City

Haeundae Marine City

Haeundae Marine City is located in Udong, Haeundae-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, South Korea. It is a new residential city built on the former reclaimed land of Suyeong Bay.

It is one of the secondary villages of Busan Metropolitan City and boasts the most gorgeous appearance among the secondary villages of Busan Metropolitan City due to the large number of high-rise apartments. Therefore, the night view of Marine City is established as the best skyscraper view and ocean view in Korea. It is located in Haeundae-gu (Woo 3-dong, Haeundae-gu) and is conveniently located near Dongbaek Station on Busan Urban Railroad Line 2. It is close to Haeundae Beach and has a wide range of scenery and convenient facilities, making it a new tourist attraction.

Access from the city center to these areas is somewhat poor, with Gwangalli Beach and Gwangan Bridge in Suyeong-gu to the west, Haeundae Beach and Dongbaekseom to the east, and Oryukdo Islands, Igidae and the sea, and Seomyeon in Nam-gu to the south, but you can get there in about 30 minutes by car using Gwangan Bridge.

The area is densely packed with high-rise luxury apartments and studio office buildings, including Haeundae I'Park (72 floors/293m), Haeundae Doosan We've the Genis (80 floors/301m), Haeundae The Shop Adelice (47 floors), and Marine City Doosan We've Poseidon (45 floors). The skyline formed when looking at Marine City from Dongdaejima Island and Gwangan Bridge is spectacular, making it a popular photo spot for many photography enthusiasts.

Marine City is home to the Movie Town, a sightseeing boat dock, the Park Hyatt Busan Hotel, and the Hanwha Resort.
