Busan Port Bridge

Busan Port Bridge

Busan Port Bridge crosses the North Port of Busan, connecting Gangman-dong, Nam-gu and Cheonghak-dong, Yeongdo-gu. It is 3331m long and 18.6-25.6m wide, and is the core section of the Busan Coastal Ring Road Network that opened in June 2014. The center of the bridge is 6m high, the same height as a 66-story apartment building, to allow large cruise ships and container ships to pass through.

This bridge has a beautiful night view, but the steep 360-degree access road that leads from Yeongdo Island to the Busan Port Bridge is what is attracting attention.

There is a circular approach road next to the ocean bridge that crosses the sea. When drivers enter this approach road, they have to make a 360-degree turn along the road as they drive. However, with the vast ocean stretching out right next to the road and the slope being steep, drivers may be worried about falling off the road.

On the mountain side of Busan Port is the Busan International Passenger Terminal, where ships bound for Japan dock, and on the sea side you can see Oryukdo Islands and, on a clear day, Japan's Tsushima Island across the sea.
