Dongnae and Dongnae Hot Springs– Category –
Dongnae, which retains the old history of Busan, is an important historical place in that it was called Dongnae-eup from early on. Dongnaeeupseong Fortress is located in the center of Dongnae-gu. During the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, the souls of the fallen generals and soldiers were enshrined in Chungnyeolsa Temple.
Dongnae has also been well known as a hot spring resort since ancient times. In addition to large hot spring facilities such as the Holsimcheon and hotels, the town also has Dongnae Spa City and Dongnae Spatopia foot baths, where anyone can easily enjoy hot springs.
If you go from the hot spring area to the mountain, there is Geumgang Park, and there is a cable car going up to Geumjeongsan Mountain, so if you have time, it would be good to go up there. It's also connected to Geumjeongsanseong Fortress.
Sajik Baseball Stadium is the home of the professional baseball team Lotte Giants, and many baseball fans gather here during the season, and you can see Lotte's unique culture of cheering seagulls. And the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Dongnae local food is definitely Dongnae pajeon. It's one of the foods I want to try when I come to Dongnae.
