IKEA East Busan Store

The fourth Korean store of Swedish global furniture brand IKEA opened on February 4, 2020 in the Osirias Tourist Complex in Gijang-gun, Busan. The IKEA Dongbu Busan store opened right next to the Lotte Mall Dongbu Busan, which is home to the popular Lotte Mart and Lotte Outlet, and is garnering attention as a shopping spot in Dongbu Busan.

The IKEA Dongbu Busan store, which has one basement floor and three above-ground floors, is divided into three main areas: the "Showroom Area" for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.; the "Home Furnishing Area" selling stylish Scandinavian-designed household goods; and the warehouse-style "Self-Serve Area" where customers can pick up large furniture themselves. The third floor also houses the IKEA Restaurant & Cafe, where customers can enjoy light meals like salads, cakes, fried chicken, and kimchi bokkeumbap (3,900 won), as well as Swedish cuisine, while the first floor features a Swedish food market.

To get there from within Busan, take Exit 1 of Bujeon Station on the Busan Subway Line 1, then get off at Osyria Station, about 30 minutes from Bujeon Station on the Donghae Line, and the shop is about a 10-minute walk from there.
