A festival held as the opening event of the summer season.
The Haeundae Sand Festival is held every year in June, just before the summer beach season begins. Artists transform mountains of white sand from the wide, beautiful beach into artistic creations. This festival, which attracts many families and couples, is held as Busan kicks off the summer season. The opening ceremony and celebratory performances of the Haeundae Sand Festival, which takes place over four days and is divided into stage events, a sculpture dzong, and an experience dzong, are held on Saturday from 6:4 pm to 19:21 pm.
