Uribolipa

Busan's largest fish market is bustling with merchants and lively fish from early in the morning.Jagalchi Marketis famous for its sashimi and seafood, but it also has a healthy, reasonably priced barley rice restaurant for the early morning workers.

As food in Korea has become increasingly Westernized, restaurants serving boribap (rice and barley), one of Korea's representative country dishes, have become less and less common. However, in recent years, the number of people seeking healthy and nostalgic Korean country cuisine has gradually increased, and it has become one of the most popular dishes.

Once you enter Uriboripat, located on the street of Jagalchi Market and find a seat, a large stainless steel bowl filled with light, non-sticky barley rice, several side dishes, fresh vegetables, doenjangguk (miso soup), and other dishes are served on a large tray.

The key to this restaurant's bolibap (barley rice) is to top barley rice with yeolmu kimchi (young radish water kimchi), young radish kimchi, shredded radish kimchi, bean sprouts, and cabbage salad, add two spoonfuls of doenjang-guk (miso soup), and add gochujang (chili pepper miso) on the table to your liking and mix well. You can also wrap barley rice bibimbap that is well mixed with vegetables such as lettuce.

If you find the barley rice bibibap too spicy, we also have a light and mild clam soup, which you can enjoy with the barley rice (clam soup set 10,000 won).

This restaurant is also open to single diners, so if you have the chance to visit Jagalchi Market, why not stop by here?
