Sasang District, a shopping and transportation center in western Busan
Sasang-gu, located in the central and western part of Busan, is a transportation hub in western Busan, with Sasang Station on Busan Subway Line 2, Busan Kimhae Light Railway, Busan Seobu Bus Terminal, and Kukchul Sasang Station. Also, there are huge shopping malls such as E-Mart, Apple Outlets, Renesite, and Homeplus.
The Busan-Gimhae Light Rail, which connects Busan and Gimhae, allows easy access to the ruins of Gimhae, the capital of the iron kingdom of Gaya, and to Gimhae International Airport, the gateway to Korea. This is an area where you can enjoy a trip to the southwest of Korea by bus or train in the west of Busan, and do some shopping to your heart's content.
