Hello, in Busan, there are few traditional Korean buildings with tiled roofs, but there are a few that remain among the buildings built during the Japanese colonial period. Among them, in the Bumin Campus of Dong-A University, which was founded in 1946 and is located in Bumin-dong, Seo-gu, Busan, there is a three-story red brick building in the Renaissance style that was started in 1923 and began operating as the Gyeongnam Metropolitan Government Office in 1925.
During the Korean War (1950-1953), it was used as the Busan Provisional Capital Government building, and after the war it was used again as the Gyeongnam Metropolitan Government Office. However, when the Metropolitan Government Office was relocated to Jinju, Gyeongnam, it became the Busan District Court and the Busan Local Police Agency, and is a building that reflects the political and drastic social changes of modern Korean history.

The building was sold to Dong-A University in 2002 and remodeled into the Dong-A University Museum on May 2009, 5. The building houses an administration room and seminar room on the first floor, an ethnic room, a Buddhist art room, a ceramics room, and an archaeological material room on the second floor, and a space displaying materials such as a model of the Provisional Capital Government Building on the third floor.
