Moon Viewing Hill, which offers a beautiful view of Haeundae Beach in Busan, is one of Busan's popular tourist spots where couples make wishes while gazing at the moon.

The road to Moon Viewing Hill, surrounded by trees and stretching from Haeundae Beach to Songjeong Beach over a winding mountain pass, is also called the "15-Bend Road" because it has 15 turns. The ocean seen from this hill is so beautiful that it is said to be a beautiful wave, and it is counted as one of the Eight Views of Korea. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom on both sides of the road, making the 8-kilometer road to Moon Viewing Hill a popular driving course.

Additionally, if you go up along Moon Viewing Hill, where you can get a panoramic view of the ocean and Haeundae Beach, as well as the delicate harmony of high-end residential areas and hotels, you will come to the Kuragejeong Pavilion, where you can best view the moon on Lunar New Year's Day (the 1th day of the first month of the lunar calendar) every year. There is a legend that long ago, when a couple who loved each other would pray while looking up at the moon, they would become husband and wife. As a result, it is said that good men and women who are not yet married would come here on Lunar New Year's Day to pledge their unchanging love while gazing at the round moon.

In the surrounding area, there are six exhibition halls, including the Dongbaek Art Center, a complex cultural space, and the Kim Seongjeong Mystery Literature Museum, as well as stylish restaurants and eateries. From Muntaeng Road Observatory at the entrance to Moon Viewing Hill, you can see the beautiful, arch-shaped Haeundae Beach, the high-rise apartment buildings of Marine City, and Gwangan Bridge at a glance, and the unique night view of Haeundae from Moon Viewing Hill is also truly amazing.
