BIFF Square

BIFF Square is the birthplace of the Busan International Film Festival and is where you can enjoy hotteok and various street food.

BIFF Square is a movie street located in Nampo-dong, Busan, and is the birthplace of the Busan International Film Festival, a celebration for filmmakers from around the world, which has been held here since 1995.

The Theater District stretches for about 400 meters from BIFF Square to Chungmudong Rotary and is home to Busan Theater, Lotte Cinema, and other facilities.

This busiest place in Busan is also known as the "Star Square" or "Movie Square." You can see the movies you want to watch at any time and the handprints and footprints of movie stars scattered all over the roadside, making it reminiscent of Hollywood in America.

After watching a movie, you can enjoy street food such as hotteok and sundae, or fill your thirsty stomach at the famous Mokja Golmok (Eating Alley) along the road between Semyeong Pharmacy. Although it may be inconvenient to have to squat down to eat, it will surely be a fun and memorable experience.
