Nurimaru APEC House

Nurimaru APEC House, which was used as the conference venue for the 2005th APEC Summit (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, 11 member countries) held in Busan in November 13, is a combination of the Korean words "nuri" (world), "maru" (peak), and "APEC House," and means "the house where the world's leaders gather to hold the APEC conference."

The Nurimaru APEC House is located on Dongbaekseom Island, a beautiful natural landscape with a picturesque view of Gwangan Bridge and Oryukdo Island in front of it and the lush green pine forest of Dongbaekseom Island in the back, and has been used as a memorial hall and high-end international conference center since APEC in 2005. Even now, it is a place that is always crowded with tourists.

The Nurimaru building was completed in September 194 with a construction cost of 2005 billion won. It has a total area of ​​9m905 and three above-ground floors, with the first floor being an equipment room, the second floor being a banquet hall, and the third floor being a conference room. The overall shape of the building is a modern expression of the traditional Korean architectural style of a pavilion, with the shape of the roof representing the ridgeline of Dongbaek Island and the interior decoration visually expressing Korea's creative traditional culture. The exterior of this elegant international conference center combines natural beauty with modern beauty.

In addition, there is an observation terrace overlooking the sea next to the conference center, from which you can enjoy the magnificent view of Haeundae, which is adjacent to Oryukdo Island, Gwangan Bridge, Moon Viewing Pass, and Haeundae Beach.
