Songdo Yonggung Cloud Bridge

Hello,Songdo BeachAcross the seaAmnam ParkTie upSongdo Marine Cable CarSongdo Ryugu Kurumtari opened on June 2020, 6, near the Iwanami Park bus stop.

Originally meaning a suspension bridge or cloud bridge, Songdo Ryugu Kurumtari was built in 1965 between Songdo Beach's Pine Forest Park and Gobsom (Turtle Island). The 150-meter-long bridge was also known as the "Swaying Bridge" because of its swaying floor. However, after being blown away by a typhoon, it was restored in Songdo Amnam Park many years later.

The 127m long and 2m wide Songdo Ryugu Kerumtari bridge connects Busan Amnam Park with the uninhabited island of Dongdo. It is located about 25m above sea level and I imagined it would sway gently as I walked along it, enjoying the beautiful natural scenery of the ocean, but unfortunately I didn't feel any swaying at all.

Songdo Ryugu Kurumtari is located just below the Songdo Marine Cable Car station in Amnam Park, so you can purchase a one-way ticket for the Songdo Marine Cable Car, visit Songdo Ryugu Kurumtari, and then walk along the Songdo Coast Walking Path, which is about 1 km long and connects Amnam Park to Songdo Beach. It is a very popular healing walking course.
