Haeundae Beach is the only beach in Korea where you can enjoy both swimming and hot springs at the same time. It is a world-famous resort beach that is visited by many summer vacationers and tourists all year round.
It is one of the Eight Scenic Views of Korea and has a beautiful natural landscape. The beautiful sandy beach, which has been smoothed over a long period of time, stretches out over a total length of 1,5 kilometers and an area of 5 square meters, and is crowded with many summer vacationers.
There are many accommodation and recreational facilities in the area, including luxury hotels such as Paradise Hotel, restaurants serving puffer fish and cod hotpots, and cafes. Every summer, a seaside festival is held, with various events held on the beach.
Many tourists visit from all over the country during the summer vacation season, and outside of the vacation season you can relax here. There are also many events held here, such as the Sand Festival, which takes place in early June.







There are places to buy smart cards instead of cash on the beach, as well as showers and places to change clothes. There are also beer stalls and food stalls on the beach.




Dongbaek Island, covered with pine trees at the end of the southern coast of the beach, is a tracking course with a circular road and a mermaid statue, and in the distance you can see Oryukdo Island, a symbol of Busan.
Haeundae Hot Springs is the only hot spring in Korea that is located near the sea, and is an alkaline simple salt hot spring that contains a small amount of radium. The temperature of the hot spring water is about 45-65°C, and it is said to be effective in treating various adult diseases such as rheumatism, skin diseases, high blood pressure, back pain, and anemia, as well as skin beauty. Currently, the area of 140 million square meters surrounding Haeundae-gu Office has been designated as a hot spring district.
directions:Subway → Get off at Haeundae Station on Busan Subway Line 2, exit at Exit 5 and take bus for about 10 minutes. Bus → Take express bus 1003 at Nampo-dong and KTX Busan Station and get off at Haeundae Beach. Approximately 40 minutes.
