Busan Western Intercity Bus Terminal, the gateway to the western region of Busan
In Busan, at the end of the Nopo Subway Line 1, there is the Busan General Bus Terminal, where express and intercity buses depart for various parts of Korea, including Gyeongju. However, the bus terminal we will introduce today is the Busan Western Intercity Bus Terminal, which mainly serves Gyeongsang and Jeolla provinces in the southwest of Korea.

The main bus routes include those to South Gyeongsang Province, including Jinhae, where the Jinhae Naval Port Festival, Korea's largest cherry blossom festival, is held; Jinju City, home to Jinju Fortress, which was the site of fierce battles during Toyotomi Hideyoshi's invasion of Korea; Geoje Island, which passes through the Geoga Bridge, an undersea tunnel that opened in 2010; and Tongyeong, where Admiral Yi Sun-sin's ruins remain scattered throughout; as well as Jeolla Province routes through Mokpo, Naju, and Suncheon, where you can experience the filming locations for TV dramas and the traditional cuisine of South Jeolla Province, which has a well-developed food culture.
There is an Apple Outlet just outside Exit 5 of Sasang Station on Busan Subway Line XNUMX, and the bus terminal is a short walk down the road to the right of the outlet. The first and second floors of the bus terminal are connected to the Apple Outlet.
