軍港の都市、３０万本の桜の木が植えられている鎮海(チンへ)で毎年4月1日から4月10日まで10日間の日程で鎮海軍港祭が満開の桜の下で開催されます。鎮海軍港祭はもともと李舜臣（イ・スンシン／1545～1598）将軍を追慕する祭りで、全国初めて1952年4月13日に李舜臣将軍の銅像が建てられた記念に、その年から1962年まで海軍鎮海統制部主管で李舜臣将軍追慕祭典が開かれました。

Other celebratory events include the Sakura Princess Contest and Sakura Carnival Night. The area will be decorated with five-colored illuminations and host a variety of folk events, including a fireworks display, a lantern parade, the Ganggangsungswollae dance, and children's farm music.
You can also visit the Naval Operations Headquarters, the Naval Academy, naval vessels, and Admiral Yi Sun-sin's Turtle Ship, all of which are off-limits to the general public.
