Chilam Conger Eel Village, which boasts a 50-year tradition, is located in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan. It is called Chilam (Seven Rocks) because there are seven black rocks in front of the village. Alternatively, the black rocks in front of the village were called lacquer rocks, but because it was difficult to write the character lacquer, it was changed to seven 'sevens'. Currently, the seven rocks are called 'Bunchan' (Conger Eel Village).

Chilam Beach is home to more than 30 sashimi restaurants specializing in conger eel sashimi.

Conger eel, commonly called Bunchan or Unagi, is especially popular when cut into smooth slices like rice. Conger eel sashimi is high in fat, so it is chewy and the more you chew it, the more flavor it releases. It can be eaten mixed with cabbage and soybean flour and vinegared miso, or as shabu-shabu or grilled. In Busan, it is said that if you want to eat conger eel, you should go to Chilam.

In front of the Suikyo Association at Nanaiwa Port, the divers' stalls are lined up in tents. Most of the stalls are selling dried fish, but you can also see sea cucumbers and turban shells. Along with the women's wet clothes, conger eels, flounders, halibut, pollock, squid and other fish are lying in the sun.

The Three Musketeers Lighthouses, the white Baseball Lighthouse, the red Seagull Lighthouse, and the yellow Conger Eel Lighthouse are famous attractions of Nanaiwa Port.
The Chilam Breakwater is a massive structure stretching over 300m, with a white "baseball" lighthouse at its tip. With a baseball and glove standing on either side of the bat-shaped lighthouse in the center, it commemorates Busan's baseball victory at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and symbolizes Busan's love of baseball.
At the southern end of Chilam Port's northern breakwater stands the red "Seagull" lighthouse. It depicts three seagulls spreading their wings in the red sun. The yellow lighthouse at the northern end of Chilam Port's northern breakwater is the "Conger Eel" lighthouse. It represents the conger eel, a representative seafood product of Chilam Village.
