Jejuya (Seomyeon branch)

Jejuya (Seomyeon branch)

Located in the back street of Lotte Hotel in Seomyeon, this is a specialty abalone porridge restaurant where you can have breakfast.

Hello, speaking of a classic breakfast menu unique to Korea, there is the extremely popular abalone porridge, which is highly nutritious and has the crunchy texture of abalone.

At night, the back streets of Lotte Hotel in Seomyeon are lined with many drinking stalls and bustling with people sharing drinks. There are also several restaurants for Japanese tourists who don't like spicy Korean cuisine. In 2009, Jejuya Main Branch, an abalone specialty restaurant in Nampo-dong near Busan Port that was hugely popular among Japanese tourists as a breakfast food, opened its own Jejuya (Seomyeon branch) on the back streets just behind the Lotte Hotel Department Store, a landmark of Seomyeon.

In addition to the standard breakfast menu item, abalone porridge, this restaurant also serves abalone dishes such as steamed abalone, butter-fried abalone, abalone ramen, abalone sashimi, and abalone seafood ttukbaegi, as well as seafood dishes such as sea urchin and seaweed soup, grilled tilefish set meals, kalchi jorim (sweet and spicy stewed hairtail fish), and kalchi gui (grilled hairtail fish with salt).

If you are staying in Seomyeon, where Busan Subway Lines 1 and 2 intersect, you can eat delicious abalone porridge in the back alley of Seomyeon Lotte Hotel Department Store.
