Hello. I'm Park, a Japanese-speaking tour guide in Busan, South Korea. Today I'd like to introduce you to Busan Restaurant, a popular restaurant located very close to Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a representative landmark of Gyeongju.

After visiting Bulguksa Temple, this restaurant is known as a popular stop for many Japanese tourists, where you can casually enjoy authentic Korean home-style cooking.
The dish I especially recommend at this restaurant is the stone-grilled bibimbap. It's a traditional Korean bibimbap served in a sizzling hot stone pot with freshly cooked rice and plenty of fresh namul and vegetables. When you mix it well, you can enjoy the fragrant crispness of the rice crust. It stays piping hot until the last bite, so it's very popular with Japanese customers as well.

This dish features a generous use of 6-7 kinds of wild vegetables and other vegetables, such as bracken, bellflower, spinach, and bean sprouts, and is characterized by its gentle seasoning that brings out the aroma and texture of each ingredient. Its simple yet elegant taste, which allows you to enjoy the original flavor of the ingredients, is one of the reasons for its popularity.
And another dish I highly recommend you try is the seafood jeon (Korean pancake). Made with fresh seafood such as squid, this pancake is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, offering a truly authentic Korean flavor. It's also perfect for sharing among a few people.

In addition, they offer classic Korean dishes such as chadolbagi miso stew and bulgogi, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind whether you're traveling with family or a group.
The restaurant is located very close to the parking lot of Bulguksa Temple, making it easily accessible. The interior is spacious, allowing even large groups to enjoy their meals at their leisure.
When you visit Gyeongju, be sure to try authentic Korean stone-grilled bibimbap and seafood jeon (Korean pancake) in addition to sightseeing at the World Heritage site, Bulguksa Temple.
