Kim Chunchu of the tomb of King Taejong Muyeol, the 390th king of Silla, is located at the foot of Mt. Seondo (29m above sea level) in the northwest of Gyeongju. He was the first king of Silla born from Jingo.BaekgangHe destroyed Baekje in the Battle of Hakusukinoe and established the foundation for the unification of the Korean Peninsula, but died of an illness in the camp in June 661, just before achieving his long-cherished dream of unifying the Three Kingdoms.

The Tomb of King Taejong Muyeol is 114m in circumference and 8.7m in height. The foundation under the tomb is built with natural stones, and protective stones to prevent the tomb from collapsing are currently exposed in places.

In front of the tomb is the tortoise base of the King Muyeol's Tomb Monument and the "Chishu" (head) placed on top of the monument (National Treasure No. 25). The head has the words "Taejong Muyeol the Great Monument" written by King Taejong Muyeol's second son Kim Inmun, so it is assumed that this tomb is the "Tomb of King Taejong Muyeol the Great."
