Ulsan Bridge Observatory

The Ulsan Bridge Observatory is located at the top of Hwajeongsan Mountain, 63 meters high (203 meters above sea level). From the observatory, you can see the Ulsan Bridge, the longest single-span suspension bridge in Korea and the third longest in the Orient, which opened in May 2015, as well as Ulsan's three major industries, the petrochemical, automobile, and shipbuilding industrial complexes, and Ulsan's seven famous mountains.

The panoramic view of Ulsan during the day and the night view of the industrial complex and downtown give you a whole different experience. There are souvenir shops and cafes at the observatory.

Overview of Ulsan Bridge

The Ulsan Bridge, which was officially opened on June 2015, 6, is 1m long and has a distance of 1,800m between the towers, making it the second longest suspension bridge in Korea. The height of the upper deck is 1,150m, so it can easily accommodate large ships entering Ulsan Port. The height of the tower is also 2m, making it the second longest suspension bridge in Korea.

After the Ulsan Bridge opened, this place also became a good spot to watch ships passing by. If you time it right, you can see Hyundai Motors' export ships passing by.
