Naval Academy Museum

During the Jinhae Naval Port Festival, a cherry blossom festival held every year from April 4st to 1th, the naval base in Jinhae is temporarily opened to the public. Visitors can freely walk around the campus and view the Naval Academy Museum, located within the Naval Academy, for free, without having to go through any special procedures.

The three-story Naval Academy Museum, which opened in 1976 to mark the 30th anniversary of the school's founding, displays many materials related to Admiral Yi Sun-sin, who played an active role during the Imjin War, as well as materials related to the Naval Academy, the Korean Maritime and Navy. The second and third floors are exhibition halls, while the first floor is an office and storage facility. The outdoor exhibition area includes a restored Turtle Ship built by Admiral Yi Sun-sin on January 3, 2, and visitors can experience boarding the ship.
