Masan Odong-dong Agujjim Street

Masan Odong-dong Agujjim Street

Hello. Every April, when the beautiful cherry blossoms bloom, the Jinhae Naval Port Festival is held in Jinhae, and the area is crowded with many cherry blossom viewers. However, if you drive about 4 minutes from Jinhae, you will find Agujjim Street, where you can try the port town of Masan's specialty dish, agujjim (spicy braised monkfish). Masan has long been a port town where monkfish has been caught in abundance, and at first it was cooked like pufferfish hotpot, but now it has become famous nationwide as agujjim, a dish of monkfish braised with vegetables such as bean sprouts and parsley in a gochujang base, and even today there are many restaurants specializing in agujjim lined up on Odong-dong Agujjim Street.

Masan Agujjim uses chewy dried monkfish, frozen monkfish, soft monkfish that is not frozen, etc. In addition to the spicy braised monkfish Agujjim, there is Agusuyuk, which allows you to enjoy the natural flavor of monkfish, and Agubulgogi, which is grilled like yakiniku, so you can order according to your preferences.
