Farmer's Dak Galbi

Chuncheon-style BBQ "Chuncheon Dakgalbi" is delicious

Hello. Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, known in Japan as the location where the Korean drama "Winter Sonata" was filmed, is famous for its famous hotplate dish "Chuncheon Dakgalbi," which is chicken seasoned with yangnyeom and gochujang stir-fried with vegetables such as cabbage, sweet potato, carrots, and green onions. However, in Chuncheon today, "Chuncheon Dakgalbi," which is chicken grilled directly over charcoal, is more popular.

Located on the road from Chuncheon Station to Soyang River Dam, Farmer's Dakgalbi is a Dakgalbi restaurant that uses chicken marinated in the restaurant's special sauce and left to sit for a day before grilling it over charcoal. There is also a Dakgalbi Street in downtown Chuncheon, but this restaurant serves Dakgalbi grilled over charcoal using the original Chuncheon Dakgalbi cooking method.

This restaurant also has tables outside where you can enjoy Chuncheon-style barbecue "Chuncheon Dakgalbi," where chicken is slowly grilled over charcoal while the excess fat is removed and the meat is then smoked to give it a fragrant flavor.
