Hadong-gun faces Jirisan National Park to the north and the sea to the south, and is located in Jeolla-do, bordering the Seomjin River to the west. It is a town rich in nature, surrounded on three sides by majestic mountains, wide seas, and calm rivers. Historically, there is Goso-seong County Park, which was built as a defense line for the Gaya countries against the Baekje forces, and at the foot of the mountain is Choi Samban-daek, where the dramatization of the Korean novel "Land" - "Sohee, the Daughter of a Noble Family" - was filmed.
In March, plum blossoms bloom in abundance at the plum village along the Seomjin River, and you can also enjoy delicious clam soup made with fish caught in the lazily flowing Seomjin River.
