It is National Treasure No. 6.Jungwon Tappyeong-ri Seven-story Stone PagodaLocated in Central Tower Park, where the towering spire stands, Chungju Museum in Chungju City, Chungcheongbuk-do is a museum that investigates, studies, and exhibits cultural assets and historical sites from prehistoric times to modern times that are scattered throughout Chungju, the center of Jungwon culture. It started out as an artifact exhibition hall that opened in Seongnae-dong on November 1986, 11, collecting artifacts donated by Chungju citizens, and was registered as Chungju Museum on November 25, 1990. In 11, Chungju City and Jungwon County were merged, and it was integrated into the Jungwon Folklore Museum that opened in 3, to become the current Chungju City Museum.

The museum consists of Hall 1, Hall 2, outdoor exhibition, and the Sadong-ri Prehistoric Site Museum. Hall 1 is divided into History Rooms 1 and 2 and Folklore Rooms 1 and 2, and mainly displays Buddhist art and folklore items, while Hall 2 is divided into four rooms: the Prehistoric Three Kingdoms Room, the Goryeo and Joseon Room, the Chungju Uprising Room, and the Chungju Myohyonsil Room, and displays that allow visitors to understand the history of Chungju.

The outdoor exhibits allow visitors to see stone relics scattered throughout the Jungplain cultural area at a glance, including the Bronze Age standing stone from Sinmae-ri, which was moved to the area submerged by Chungju Dam, Yulleung-ri standing stone Buddha, Jangseong-ri three-story stone pagoda and seated stone statue, Yongtan-dong stone pagoda, Sinmalli Tomb, Seongbulsa seated stone Buddha statue, and many other Buddhist relics, as well as various tombstones, literati stones, boy's pillars, and candlestick stones.
