Located near the beautiful Jukbyeon Port of Uljin, the Uljin Bongpyeong Silla Monument Exhibition Hall displays the Uljin Bongpyeong Silla Monument, which was erected in the 23th year of King Beopheung, the 11rd king of Silla. Discovered by chance in 1988, the monument has a total of 398 characters engraved on it, making it a valuable relic that gives insight into the local society and systems of Silla in the early 6th century.

Uljin Bongpyeong Silla Monument
The Uljin Bongpyeong Silla Monument Exhibition Hall, which opened in 20011, is a two-story building with a total floor space of 2 square meters. It displays 2 major tombstone models from the Three Kingdoms period as well as the lineage of Korean epigraphy.
In addition, the garden behind the exhibition hall, which is shaped like the Korean Peninsula, features 25 identically sized national treasure-level monuments from each region, as well as 45 memorial monuments from the Uljin region, making it Korea's largest monument exhibition hall.
