Late Gaya tomb located in Geochang County
Hello. Geochang Kaifeng Tomb, located about a 30-minute drive from Goryeong-gun, where the Jisan-dong Tomb Group in Daegaya is located, towards Gwangju City, is a late Gaya tomb built on a small hill about 200 meters above sea level north of Geochang-gun city.

The group of burial mounds is surrounded by rural residential areas and apple orchards, with the Huangjiang River flowing from north to south to the west and the Wei River flowing from east to west to the south. About five Kaifeng Tombs have been identified, but only Tomb No. 30 and No. 10 are maintained and managed. The largest of these is XNUMX meters in diameter and XNUMX meters high.
Most of the grave goods in this group of burial mounds have been looted, but considering the pottery fragments discovered in the surrounding area and their location, it is speculated that these may have been ruling burial mounds from the Daegaya period.
