Hello,Buyeo Intercity Bus TerminalThe Buyeo National Museum, located about 1 kilometer away, displays over 538 relics from the Baekje period, when the capital was moved from Ungjin in Gongju, South Chungcheong Province, to Sabi, which is now Buyeo, in 660 and continued for 122 years until Baekje's downfall in 1,000, ushering in the Sabi period.


Excavations are still being actively conducted in Buyeo, and visitors can still encounter the magnificent Baekje culture that has just been unearthed. The Buyeo Museum consists of four exhibition rooms and an outdoor exhibition area.
<Exhibition Room 1>
The prehistoric culture of Chungcheongnam-do, from the Bronze Age to the Sabi Baekje period, is on display at a glance.




<Exhibition Room 2>
The museum introduces the history and culture of the Baekje period and the lifestyle and culture of Sabi Baekje. Representative relics from the Baekje period include the Baekje Large Gilt Bronze Incense Burner and the Stone Relic Shrine with the Inscription of King Chang, both of which were excavated from the Neungsan-ri Temple Site adjacent to the Neungsan-ri Tomb Group in Buyeo, Buyeo.





<Exhibition Room 3>
At the entrance to the third exhibition hall, you will be greeted by a replica of the Seosan Rock Carved Triad of Buddha, also known as the Smile of Baekje. The exhibition is divided into Buddhist art that shows the excellent metal Buddhist art of the Baekje period, foreign exchange, and Baekje architecture and roof tiles.
The Gilt Bronze Maitreya Statue and the Gilt Bronze Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Statue display sophisticated sculptural beauty and the gentle smiles characteristic of the Baekje people of that time.












<Professor Park Man-sik Donated Room>
This museum exhibits earthenware from the Baekje period that Professor Park Man-sik has been collecting for the past 30 years.
<Outdoor Exhibition Area>
Exhibits include the Buyeo Stone Tank and the Monument to Zen Master Fukō of Fukō Temple.




Just outside the Buyeo Museum is the site of Jeongrimsa Temple, one of the most representative temples of the Baekje period.Jeongrimsa Temple Site MuseumYou can also enjoy the five-story stone pagoda at Jeongrimsa Temple Site, which has a rounded, mellow feel that is unique to Baekje.
