Jeonju Hanok Village

Jeonju Hanok Village in Jeonju City, the birthplace of the Joseon Dynasty, is a densely populated village of over 550 traditional Korean houses covering an area of ​​7 square meters in the Gyo-dong and Pungnam-dong areas, centered around Taejo-ro, a 6,320-meter stretch of road that stretches from Pungnammun to Omokdae.

There are cultural heritage sites such as Gyeonggijeon (Historic Site 339), which enshrines the remains of King Yi Seong-gye, the first king of the Joseon Dynasty; Jeondong Cathedral, a Catholic holy site built in 1914 (Historic Site 288); Omokdae and Imokdae, which offer a panoramic view of Jeonju Hanok Village, and Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School.
