The remains of a Baekje residential area were excavated from Mongchontoseong, an earthen fortress from the early Baekje period, located in Olympic Park in Bangchon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
It is one of the precious historical sites from the Baekje Hanseong period (18 BC~475 AD), when Baekje was an ancient state.

As a result of six excavations conducted between 1983 and 1989, 6 pit dwellings, 12 building sites, and 4 storage pits were identified, along with cylindrical pedestals, tripod earthenware, iron weapons such as swords and spears, and armor made from bones.

The Baekje Dwelling Site Exhibition Hall, where all four dwelling sites are preserved and exhibited, consists of hexagonal-shaped dwelling sites from different periods stacked on top of each other. There is an entrance on the south side and a hearth protruding outward along the wall of the dwelling site.
