Suncheon Open Filming Site

Suncheon Open Film Set, located in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, is an open drama set that recreates Seoul's downtown area in the 1980s, Seoul's Daltongnae in the 1960s, and Suncheon city streets from the 1950s to 70s.

Since filming the TV drama "Love and Ambition" here in 2006, popular dramas such as "East of Eden," "Baker King Kim Tak Goo," and "Giant" have been shot here, and it is still a popular drama filming location visited by many drama fans.

At the entrance to the drama filming site, posters of past productions are displayed, so you can check out the works that your favorite actors have appeared in. Even if you have never watched a Korean drama, you can enjoy the realistic old Korean townscape as if you had traveled back in time. There are also buildings on the set that have been turned into shops where you can buy drinks and snacks, so you can take a short break and walk around slowly, remembering the scenes from the dramas you have seen.
