Tongyeong Undersea Tunnel

This is the first undersea tunnel in the Orient, Tongyeong, built in 1932. Measuring 483 meters in length, 5 meters in width and 3.5 meters in height, the Tongyeong Undersea Tunnel passed under the sea of ​​the Tongyeong Canal and was used as a connecting road between Tongyeong and Mireukdo Island. However, with the opening of the Tongyeong Bridge, it is now rarely used and is managed as a historical site.
