This is the longest tourist ropeway in Korea, located on Mireuksan Mountain at an altitude of 461 meters, which offers a panoramic view of the sea off Tongyeong. Board the ropeway at the ground-level ropeway station and after about 10 minutes you will arrive at the upper station on Mireuksan Mountain, overlooking the beautiful Hallyeohae Park. It takes about 15 minutes one way from there to the Mireuksan Observatory, but once you reach the top of Mireuksan Mountain, you will be able to see the view of Tongyeong city, as well as the fantastical view of the sea where the Battle of Hansan Island took place and the archipelago.
