Tongyeong Chungnyeolsa
Hello, Tongyeong Chungnyeolsa, located in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, is a shrine built to honor Admiral Yi Sun-sin, who played a major role as the Navy Commander during the Imjin War. The reason the shrine was built here is because Admiral Yi Sun-sin's activities were centered on Hansan Island in Tongyeong, so he was called Namhae Chungnyeolsa. -
