Wanggung-ri Historic Site and Wanggung-ri Historic Site Exhibition Hall (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Wanggung-ri Five-story Stone Pagoda Wanggung-ri ruins, about 6km from the Mireuksa Temple site in Iksan, is known as an important royal palace site built during the reign of King Mu at the end of Baekje, which has direct ties to the Baekje royal family. The National Research Institute of Buyeo Cultural Heritage began excavation surveys in 1989 and is still in progress.
