It produces more than 50% of the nation's ceramics.
Ulju Rock Carvings Museum

The rock painting, which is about 8 meters wide and 3 meters high, is the oldest prehistoric site discovered in Korea and is carved with about 300 pictures. Among the pictures carved into the rock, a highly realistic painting of a whale hunt dates back to the Neolithic period about 7000 years ago and is considered to be the oldest whale hunting painting on Earth.
Ulsan Great Rock

It is also popular as the place where the sun rises earliest in Korea along with Ganjeolgot Cape in Ulju County, and the scenery of the rocks facing the East Sea is beautiful, making it a very popular tourist destination as one of Ulsan's main tourist attractions! Daewangam Park has a mysterious legend that after the death of the queen of King Munmu the Great, who unified the three kingdoms during the Silla period, she became a guardian dragon and followed King Munmu the Great, who unified the three kingdoms, and sank under a large rock in the East Sea of Ulsan.
Ulsan Bridge Observatory (closed on Mondays)

Located at the top of Hwajeong Mountain, 63m high (203m above sea level), from the observation deck you can see Korea's second longest Ulsan Bridge, Ulsan's three major industries - the petrochemical, automobile, and shipbuilding industrial complexes, and Ulsan's seven famous mountains.
Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village

Jangsaengpo Whale Museum is a museum in Ulsan that preserves and exhibits whale-related materials. It opened in 2005.
